We will welcome the 14th Annual Sanur Village Festival 2019. For the Bali and Indonesia tourism calendar, August is the month for Sanur community’s festival. In its 14th year, Sanur Village Festival will feature the theme Dharmaning Gesing – the glorifying of bamboo, which reflects the Balinese appreciation on bamboo’s role in the daily life. It is used in religious ceremonies and an important element in building architecture, so the festival explores bamboo as part of Sanur community’s spirit of creativity. The awareness of its existence is hoped to encourage togetherness and sense of family, respect and protecting the environment and inspire the community creativity.   The main stage of Sanur Village Festival hosts types of performances. While enjoying the sea breeze, get entertained by musicians of various genres. From jazz to blues to the occasional pop music, And Traditional arts are not forgotten like Gambelan, Balinese traditional set of instruments includes traditional dances by the most talented of Sanur performers. Food Festival is one of the most popular events at Sanur Village Festival. Get excitingly confused by stalls after stalls offering delicacies of all kinds. Satisfy the palate with menus offered by popular restaurants around Sanur. The menu ranges from Indonesian food to international choices. Many 5-stars restaurants open a booth here. Offering visitors a chance to try on their menu at a lower price than usual pricing. There will be other activities being held as well such as Yoga Mass Workshop which is organized by no other than Sanur’s own yoga community Seger Oger and it is free to join this healthy activity.
